Starting a New Habit: Writing in Public

Input builds understanding. Output builds impact.

In 2026, I want to build a new habit: writing. My goal is simple—publish one article every week.

Last year, I focused heavily on input. I read 18 books 📚, which became my personal record. That season was about absorbing ideas, perspectives, and knowledge. This year, I want to balance that by increasing my output—turning what I’ve learned into something concrete, useful, and shareable.

Why start writing now? Because knowledge that stays in my head is wasted. Writing forces clarity. It reveals what I truly understand, what I don’t, and what’s worth sharing. I want to learn in public, document my journey, and grow together with others who might be walking a similar path.

Most of the articles here will be tech-related—maybe. This website also serves as my portfolio, and yes—it’s part of my effort to build more value (and hopefully make more money 💸). But beyond that, this space is about creating something meaningful and sustainable, not just chasing output for the sake of it.

Furthermore, I want to do what prophet Muhammad said in a hadith:

Tie the knowledge by writing it

You can expect articles about:

  • Software development

  • Lessons from real projects—successes and mistakes

  • Notes and reflections from books, talks, and community work

  • Thoughts on productivity, growth, and building at a human pace

I don’t promise perfection. Some articles may be short, some imperfect. But I do promise consistency—showing up every week and pressing “publish.”.

One personal rule: I’ll only write about things I’ve actually tried, built, or struggled with. No empty tutorials—only real experiences and honest reflections.

If something here resonates with you, feel free to reach out, discuss, or even disagree. Learning is always better when it’s shared.

This is the start of a long journey—writing my way forward, one week at a time.

Thanks for reading. See you in the next article 👋🏼
